Our bed and breakfast Gravin van het Schouwtje used to be Martin’s former parental home. When his parents bought the house 40 years ago, they were welcomed by their friends with the words: “Welcome, Count and Countess of Het Schouwtje”.
At that time, the entrance of the house was on the other side, at the Schouwtjeslaan, with a view on het Schouwtje, a former changing station for tow-boat-pulling horses.
Nowadays, the entrance of the 120 m2 apartment leads to a garage and a spacious living-room with has, among other things, a big television and a free of charge Internet connection. There is also a spacious kitchen-diner (you can also have your meals in the living-room), a double-bedded room (where a child’s bed can be added), a separate toilet, and a bath-room with a double wash-stand and shower.
Bed and bath linen is available.
It is possible to bring small pets, after consulting the owners.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
